Police: Anderson man shot 3 times after argument with another

ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The victim in a Friday afternoon shooting in Anderson is in stable condition and the accused shooter is in jail, police said.

Lt. David Creamer with the Anderson Police Department said just after noon Curtis Hill, 42, was shot in the leg, pelvis and spine at 403 Cleveland Avenue near Fant Street.

Hill was taken to the hospital and was in surgery when police last updated FOX Carolina. 

Lt. Creamer said the suspect has been identified as Napoleon Blackwell Jr., 69. Warrants have been signed for attempted murder and possession of a knife/firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

Police say the shooting happened after the two had an argument inside the residence.
