Gamecocks, Tigers announce bowl game ticket info

Posted: Updated:

The Gamecocks and Tigers will return to familiar territory during the bowl season this winter.

South Carolina will play Wisconsin in Orlando on Jan. 1 for the Capital One Bowl. Clemson will play Ohio State on Jan. 3 in Miami for the BCS Orange Bowl. Both teams played in the same bowl games in 2011.

And fans still have the chance to buy tickets to the games.

The South Carolina Athletics Ticket Office is already accepting bowl ticket requests from Gamecock Club members and University faculty and staff for the 2014 football postseason. The club priority deadline is Wednesday at 8 p.m. and ticket prices are $92 for reserved seats.

The office has also started taking student requests. Requests can be made online at or by calling the ticket office at 800-4SC-FANS.

Tickets requested after Wednesday's deadline will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis. Remaining available tickets will go on sale to the public at a later date.

The Clemson Athletic Ticket Office is already selling tickets ranging from $50 to $225. There are a limited number of $50 tickets available. Tickets will be assigned based on IPTAY membership and priority points.

The general public's tickets will be based upon order date. Tickets can be bought online at

Clemson fans hoping to save a little extra money will get a free $20 parking pass with the purchase of four or more tickets. That purchase will also come with two complimentary passes to the One Clemson Tailgate on game day.

If you make the trip to Orlando or Miami to support your favorite Palmetto state team, send your game day photos to or upload them at
