GREENWOOD, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenwood investigators have made two arrests in the beating death of a Greenwood man in February and said one of the suspects was the victim's son.

According to Major Urban Mitchell, the Greenwood Violent Crime Task force charged Zanquirous Hurley and Cavin Harrison with murder and strong armed robbery in the death of Vincent Hurley, 42.

Greenwood police said an acquaintance of Vincent Hurley's stopped by his Central Avenue home to pick him up for church and found him dead Feb. 3.

Since then, police had not released any details about their investigation until Wednesday.

Mitchell said Harrison was arrested outside of Atlanta on Monday with the help of U.S. Marshals while the victim's son, Zanquirous Hurley, was arrested Tuesday in Greenwood.

Harrison is awaiting extradition back to Greenwood, police said.
