GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville police said one of the men involved in an attempted robbery that led to a fatal shooting at a local apartment complex has been released from the hospital and arrested.

On Tuesday, two men knocked on the door of a Stonesthrow apartment in an attempt to rob the resident, according to arrest warrants.

That's when the suspects and victim began firing shots at each other, according to police. Both men were shot and tried to flee the apartment, but one did not survive, according to the coroner. Police said the resident was also shot.

The coroner identified the man who died outside the apartment was Denzel Hayden, 21, of Greenville.

Police said the other man who fled showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound.

Police identified him as 20-year-old Lamin Yansaneh and said he was released from the hospital Thursday night and arrested on charges of attempted murder, attempted armed robbery, burglary and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

There was a third suspect at the apartment complex waiting on the other two who also fled the scene, according to police. Police arrested 19-year-old Clint Wright on Wednesday on charges of attempted murder, attempted armed robbery, burglary and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
