After a chilly night with temperatures in the mid-30s for the Upstate and upper 20s for the mountains, we will see plenty of sun, allowing another warm day to develop.
Temperatures in the Upstate will climb to right around 60 degrees Tuesday afternoon under mostly sunny skies. Western NC will see a few high level clouds but remain mostly sunny as temperatures peak in the mid-50s.
Winds will pick up as the day progresses, giving us a steady breeze between 10 and 15 mph out of the WSW in the Upstate and gusts as fast as 20 mph. For the mountains, the winds will be out of the northwest between 5 and 15 mph and gusts reaching 25 mph.
Tuesday night ushers in yet another chilly night with clear skies. The sun will stick around for the rest of the week with the next chance of rain not being until late Friday.
