GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville police released surveillance photos on Tuesday after they said a stolen credit card was used to purchase almost $4,000 worth of merchandise.

The stolen card was used two times on Nov. 20 at the Best Buy on Woodruff Road to purchase over $3,700 worth of merchandise, and then again at Journeys the same night to purchase $370, according to an incident report from the police department.

The report said the card was declined when someone attempted to use it again at Journeys a short time after.

The victim said a total of three cards were taken. She stated in the incident report that she always kept the cards in her purse and she never leaves her purse in the open.

Anyone with information about the person in the pictures is asked to call Greenville Crime Stoppers at 864-23-CRIME.
