Most Memorable Story: I had only been with WNEM-TV5 for a hand full of months before a strong line of storms passed through Mid-Michigan putting Saginaw County under a Tornado Warning. The storm responsible for the warning passed over my apartment and the station. I waited the storm out in my safe place and when it had passed, rushed into the station to help our chief meteorologist with wall to wall coverage. It was the first time I experienced, firsthand, what it was like to be in a tornado warning area in addition to seeing wall to wall coverage as well. Luckily no one was hurt and the later shows went on as originally planned.
