There are unseasonably warm temperatures across the board for the Upstate and western North Carolina.
This warm air is expected to linger around for one more day before a cold front bumps us back down to cooler temperatures for the work week and holiday.
Rain and thunderstorms will be the story Sunday afternoon as temperatures hit the upper 60s across our region. Winds will be mainly out of the south between five and 15 mph with gusts closer to 20 mph.
The cold front will crawl along late Sunday into Monday bringing in cooler temperatures and putting an end to the rain by midday Monday. The sun will return Tuesday and stick around for Christmas with temperatures leveling off in the mid-40s.
