ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Anderson Police said on Tuesday they are searching for a vehicle in connection to a recent string of thefts from post office boxes.

Officers said they happened at the UPS boxes at the Publix on East Greenville Street and at the entrance of the NBSC on North McDuffie Street.

Police said they are looking for a 1998 model black Honda Accord in connection with the thefts.

We're told the U.S. Postal Inspector is working with officers on the investigation. Officers say tampering with U.S. mail is a federal offense.

If you have any information you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
