High pressure will stay in control overnight and allow temperatures to fall to below freezing overnight. Sunny skies will continue on Friday with highs peaking to right around average. Temperatures will peak in the lower 50s in the Upstate and upper 40s in Western NC.
Winds will be relatively light for both the upstate and the mountains out of the North. Friday night will once again dip below freezing before rebounding into the mid-50s for our region.
Low pressure sweeping in from the Gulf will bring rain showers into our area late Saturday and will stick around for Sunday. We can expect to see between 1 and 2 inches of rain from this system.
Sun will return on Monday with temperatures settled in the lower 50s and mid-40s.
