FBI needs help finding man accused of shooting and killing a PD officer

TUPELO, MS (FOX Carolina) -

The FBI needs help finding a suspect they believe was involved with bank robberies in Atlanta, GA and Tupelo, MS. Officials also think this person is responsible for shooting two Tupelo Police Department Officers, one of which died, an the other is critically wounded.

Investigators don't know who the suspect is, but according to surveillance video and pictures, he appears to be between 5'8" and 6'0", with a slender build. The man was wearing a facemask, a shirt or jacket with an "Aztec" pattern, khaki pants, and tennis shoes similar to the Converse brand.

They believe he is driving a gray sedan, possibly a late-model Chrysler 200.

Investigators have been looking for this man since the robberies and shootings happened Dec. 23.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
