GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville police are working to identify a woman they said robbed a Citgo Store at gunpoint on Friday.

Police said the robbery happened at the gas station located at 1301 S. Pleasantburg Dr. just before 11 p.m. on Dec. 27.

A woman entered the store wearing something over her face and gloves, demanding money from the register, police said.

Police spokesperson Johnathan Bragg said the clerk believes the suspect may have come into the store earlier the same night along with a man. He said police are hoping to identify the woman who came in at 7:40 p.m. and consider her a person of interest in the case.

Police ask anyone who can identify the woman seen in the store or who may have information about the robbery to call the Greenville Police Department Tip Line at 864-271-GCPD (4273) or Greenville Crime Stoppers at 864-23-CRIME.
