MIAMI (FOX Carolina) -

Coach Dabo Swinney will be saying farewell to some of the first players he recruited to the Tigers after Friday's Orange Bowl game against Ohio State.

This year's outgoing fifth year seniors were part of Swinney's first recruiting class as Clemson's head coach, which includes players like Tajh Boyd and kicker Chandler Cheanzaro.

"Back in February of 2009 when we signed most of this senior class, if I had written down what this class was going to accomplish you would have said I was crazy," said Swinney after practice.

"I still remember their first practice as Clemson football players back in August of 2009," said Swinney. "Some of them had a long way to go. Some of them were not highly recruited. But they have worked hard and improved and are part of a class that has done great things.

FOX Carolina sports anchor/reporter Aaron Cheslock and photographer Mike Birchfield are in Miami to cover the game. They will be providing updates online and on the FOX Carolina News.
