Tucson's modern streetcar project has reached another goal – the arrival of another streetcar.
The third of Tucson's eight car fleet arrived shortly after 4 a.m. Tuesday morning. As with the first two streetcars the next step for this latest arrival is testing.
According to Michael Graham, a City of Tucson representative, a fourth streetcar will arrive later this month. With the last four arriving between March and May, all eight cars of the Tucson fleet will be ‘home'.
The City expects to start operating the streetcar by late July or August once all testing is complete.
