ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

About 400 people were evacuated from an outpatient facility for Mission Hospital in Asheville Tuesday.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to a fire alarm activation after a third floor water line busted and flooded the area. The water leaked into the electrical room, triggering the fire alarm.

Asheville Fire crews had to cut the power to the building, causing it to shut down for the remainder of the day. The outpatient building is separate from the main hospital, so the hospital was not affected by the incident.
