District: Students safe after school bus hit by car near Blue Ridge

GREER, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Greenville County school bus taking students to two Blue Ridge-area schools Thursday morning was hit by a car, but no one was injured, according to the district.

A representative for Greenville County Schools said the accident happened on Gap Creek Road near North McElhaney Road.

Troopers reported the wreck happened about 8 a.m.

Twenty students headed to Blue Ridge middle and high schools were onboard, but the district said there were no reported injuries.
