SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Jail records show a Campobello man wanted after allegedly kicking in a Lyman man's door, demanding money at gunpoint, has been arrested.

Spartanburg County deputies said the suspect broke into the victim's Edwards Road home about 6 p.m. Saturday.

The suspect, later identified as Ronald Harris, shoved a handgun into the victim's face and demanded his money, deputies said. The victim refused and Harris, 42, ordered him to get his stuff and get out of the house, deputies said.

The victim told deputies that Harris was with three other men, and they were driving his girlfriend's white SUV with South Carolina tags, according to the sheriff's office report. Deputies said the SUV's registration shows the SUV is a GMC Yukon.

Deputies said they had warrants for Harris' arrest in connection with the home invasion on charges of first-degree burglary, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature. Online jail records show Harris was arrested Monday night.

According to his arrest warrants, Harris hit the victim in the head during the home invasion, wounding him. Lt. Tony Ivey with the sheriff's office said investigators are working to identify the other people who were with Harris during the crime.

Deputies said the victim and Harris knew each other, so there was no danger to the community.
