COLUMBIA, SC (FOX Carolina) -

An Iva man already has plans for how he will enjoy his $200,000 lottery win - with a new swimming pool.

The winner, Mike Polovitz, told South Carolina Education Lottery officials that he will use his prize from the Superstar Cash scratch-off game to put in a swimming pool.

Polovitz told lottery official the plan is "frivolous" but that is how his family wants to celebrate the win.

He bought the winning ticket at the 7-Eleven on West Front Street in Iva, scratched the ticket in the store's parking lot then ran back inside to make sure he really won.

"I didn't believe it until we got here [Columbia]," Polovitz's wife told lottery officials.

The odds of winning one of the two remaining top prizes of $200,000 in the $10 Superstar Cash game are 1 in 600,000. The store received a $2,000 commission for selling the claimed ticket.
