Pickens police search for suspect after bank robbery

PICKENS, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Pickens police are searching for a suspect after the SunTrust Bank was robbed on Tuesday afternoon.

Police said at 3:15 p.m. a man walked into the bank on W Cedar Rock Street and gave the teller a note demanding money. They said the man got an undisclosed amount of cash and walked out.

The suspect is described as an older man with possibly a light colored mustache, about 5'11" and slim, according to police.

Police said he was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and sunglasses. They said it is believed he may have had two accomplices waiting for him up the road.

Officers said no one was injured in the robbery.
