PEORIA, AZ (AP) -

A Peoria man has been arrested for allegedly sharing child pornography online, Maricopa County authorities said.

Sheriff's officials said 40-year-old Stephen J. Austin is being held on $25,000 bond on suspicion of 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

He was arrested at his home Monday and had his initial court appearance Tuesday.

Court records show a sheriff's detective reported finding an internet protocol address linked to a user sharing 122 files of child porn over a peer-to-peer network.

After obtaining a subpoena for the suspect's I.P. address, sheriff's investigators executed a search warrant at Austin's home.

They said several hundred child pornography images and videos were discovered on Austin's laptop and on an external hard drive from his bedroom.
