PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Three men arrested in connection with an armed robbery and the shooting of a Phoenix police officer and Maricopa County Sheriff's Posse member pleaded not guilty Wednesday morning.

Roger Sharp, 26, and David Murray, 36, entered their pleas at their respective arraignments in Maricopa County Superior Court.

Sharp faces two counts of armed robbery, two counts of prohibited weapons, two counts of attempted murder, two counts of burglary, one count of unlawful flight and one count of resisting arrest.

Murray faces two counts of armed robbery.

Jason Beau Keep waived his appearance for his arraignment but his attorney entered a not guilty plea on his behalf. He is charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

All three are expected to appear in court next on Feb. 27.

Sharp and Murray led police on a chase after two employees of a Phoenix gentleman's club were robbed at gunpoint in a parking lot of an IHOP restaurant on Dec. 31.

The suspects' getaway vehicle eventually collided with a truck driven by posse member Phillip Grigg, 63.

Grigg got out of his vehicle to help Phoenix police Officer Scott Sefranka subdue the suspects.

During the struggle, Sharp took the officer's gun and shot Sefranka and Griff, according to police.

Phoenix police conducted an intense search before finding Sharp and Murray in a neighborhood southeast of 56th Street and Thomas Road in Scottsdale.

Grigg and Sefranka are still recovering from their life-threatening injuries.
