Vic Beasley staying put at Clemson

CLEMSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

For one more season, Vic Beasley will strap it up for the Tigers in Death Valley.

In a surprising move, Clemson defensive end Beasley will return to the Tigers for his senior season.

Beasley was a consensus first-team All-American in 2013. He was projected by many to go in the first round of this year's NFL Draft.

Beasley led the ACC in sacks with 13 this year. That number was also good for top 3 in the nation. He also was second in the conference in tackles for loss with 23.

2013 was Beasley's first year as a starter, and he already has 21 sacks in his career. He'll only need eight in 2014 to break the school record of 28.
