SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies said an Upstate man met with a man who he owed $10 to repay him, but was robbed by the man, along with two others, at gunpoint.

Spartanburg County deputies said the victim owed one of the suspects, identified as 18-year-old Jacob Cooksey, $10 for gas and the two planned to meet at the victim's house on Wednesday.

When Cooksey arrived, he was accompanied by two other men. According to the sheriff's office report, one of the men had a shotgun and the other had a handgun.

Deputies said the men stole $200 cash from the victim and then fled in a SUV. According to the report, a woman was with the victim but the men did not rob her.

Deputies identified the other suspects as Equevious Drummond, 20, and Kelton Nesbitt, 18. All three men were arrested on one count of armed robbery.

According to arrest warrants, Nesbitt also was charged with failure to stop for blue lights and autobreaking in connection with a related larceny. Cooksey was cited for possession of marijuana.
