GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Greenville County coroner has identified a man killed while helping a truck back into the road on Monday.

The coroner, Parks Evans, said 32-year-old Phillip Gregory Kelly was struck by a vehicle while he was assisting his cousin back a large truck into the roadway. Evans said Kelly died on the scene.

The accident occurred at about 6:30 p.m. on Mush Creek Road in Travelers Rest.

The collision is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the coroner's office.
