GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC (FOX Carolina) -

According to officials, there was an armed robbery at the Tony's Pizza on South Pleasantburg Drive in Greenville County Monday evening.

The call came in a little after 10 p.m.

Deputies said two employees were in the store when a male wearing dark denim and a dark leather coat entered the restaurant with a handgun.

No shots were fired and no one was injured; however, the robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. He fled on foot out the back of the building.

Deputies and K-9s responded to the scene, but the dogs were led to a dead end near 315 Crosby Circle. Deputies say a getaway car may have been waiting there.
