GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Two men have been charged in connection with an armed robbery at an ATM at Cherrydale last week, the sheriff's office announced on Tuesday.

Jonathan Smith of the Greenville County Sheriff's Office said Quintavis Deshun McGee and Dreal Jahlil Studstill have both been charged in connection with the robbery at the First Citizens Bank on State Park Road on Jan. 20.

McGee is charged with armed robbery, first-degree assault and battery, conspiracy and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, according to online jail records provided by the Greenville County Detention Center.

Studstill is charged with financial transaction card theft, armed robbery with a deadly weapon, first-degree assault and battery, conspiracy and possession of stolen goods, according to online jail records.

According to deputies, the two men approached the victim while he was withdrawing money and one of them was armed with a gun. Deputies said one of the people pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded the victim withdraw a large amount of cash.

The victim told the men the bank would not allow such a large transaction. The victim then attempted to withdraw the money, but it was declined.

The victim was then robbed of his wallet and the men fled on foot.
