GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for assistance after cloned bank cards were used at various stores in the area.

According to Jonathan Smith of the sheriff's office they received three different incident reports involving the same woman between August 2014 and January 2014.

Smith said the victims had their bank card numbers captured in some way and the woman is using clones of the cards to make purchases in the county.

The sheriff's office released surveillance photos of the woman at the Publix grocery store in Greenville County.

Smith said the victims are from Belton, Greer, and one who lives in California and has never been to Greenville.

It is unknown how the card numbers were captured, he said.
