Greenville police are asking the public for assistance after two people didn't stop for officers after a shoplifting incident.

Police said the pair is accused of concealing two laptops and a cellphone at the Best Buy on Woodruff Road.

The two were confronted by store employees and returned the items, police said.

When police arrived at the store, the couple was getting in a vehicle about to leave, police said.

Police said the two are also wanted for failing to stop for a police vehicle when an officer got behind them and attempted to stop them for shoplifting.

Police released surveillance video from the store and are asking the public for help identifying the people.

Anyone with information should contact the Greenville Police Department.
