GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Temperatures are dipping into the teens again across the Upstate and mountains on Thursday night.

With the sub-freezing temperatures isolated slick spots on secondary roads and shaded areas will continue to be an issue.

Many area schools, including Greenville County, Pickens County and Oconee County, have delayed school on Friday because of the expected icy conditions.

A big warm up is coming for Friday morning, should be our last time to deal with slippery roads, according to FOX Carolina Chief Meteorologist Kendra Kent.

Highs will reach the 50s for most spots on Friday, and the warmer air will stick around through the weekend.

Kendra said no snow is in the forecast for the next 7 days, but we are tracking some rain for Super Bowl Sunday.
