UNION, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Union police have arrested a local woman after they said her child tested positive for a drug.

Police released little information about the case, but said Emily Outzs Vaughan was charged with unlawful neglect of a child.

According to her arrest warrant, Vaughan's child tested positive via a hair exposure test.

Police did not say how old the child was or how the child came into contact with the controlled substance.

Vaughan was arrested Thursday and is being held at the county jail.
