SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Spartanburg Police said a woman was charged after she crashed into a parked car and an apartment building Saturday.
Police said Marie Grant, 65, crashed her Mercury van into a car, then jumped a curb and hit a building at the Woodland Apartments on Pine Lake Drive.
Police said Grant admitted that she had taken prescription drugs for blood pressure and heart problems, and was also taking antidepressants and painkillers. Police said grant also admitted to snorting heroin Friday.
After conducting a number of field sobriety tests, officers said they took grant into custody and charged with one charge of Driving Under the Influence first offense.
