GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A code red alert issued by deputies led to a missing woman with mental disabilities being found in Greenville County on Tuesday night.

Susan Williams went missing from her home on East Wilburn Street around 8:30 p.m. When K9s were unable to locate Williams, deputies issued a code red. Deputies said the code red notified everyone within two to three miles of where Williams was last seen of her disappearance.

Deputies found Williams at a Citgo gas station on Pendleton Road after the clerk called the sheriff's office.

The store clerk said Williams had been talking to her at the counter for about five to ten minutes, when she realized the woman and her clothing matched the description of the missing woman from the code red.

Deputies said Williams left home after she and her brother got in an argument.
