LAURENS, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Two men, previously charged with the murder of a Cross Hill man and his niece, are now facing more charges in a separate robbery, the sheriff's office said on Thursday.

Deshanndon Franks, 26, and Tevin Hill, 22 are being charged with the attempted robbery of a local business on Highway 39 in Laurens County, deputies said.

Hill is also charged with pointing and presenting a firearm during the robbery that happened on Jan. 28, only three days before the bodies were found in a Cross Hill mobile home, deputies said.

On Wednesday, Laurens County deputies arrested the two in connection with the shooting deaths of Sammie Leake, 47, and Nikesha James, 24. Leake and James were found shot to death inside their Cross Hill home on Friday. According to the coroner, Leake was James' uncle.

Deputies said both are being detained at the Laurens County Detention Center.
