INMAN, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A crash in Spartanburg County Friday took the life of a 39-year-old Campobello man, the coroner's office announced.

Troopers reported the wreck just before 1 p.m. along SC 292 at Hickory Nut Road.

FOX Carolina has a crew at the scene and said the crash involved a garbage truck and two other vehicles.

The coroner's investigator Ellen Holmes identified the victim as Tracy Lashelle Briscoe.

Troopers said Briscoe was entrapped and pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in his car was transported to the hospital. We're told both were wearing their seatbelts.

Troopers tell us two people in a third car both had to be transported to the hospital. They were both wearing their seatbelts.

The driver of the garbage truck was also wearing his seatbelt and was not injured.

SC Highway Patrol is still investigating this crash.
