LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A country music star is coming to Louisville to help raise money for a 3-year-old girl who was diagnosed with cancer.

The concert comes after Addilyn Roberts and her parents were caught up in a scam that ended with the arrest of a high school acquaintance of her father.

Ben and Angela Roberts found out their daughter has Leukemia in September 2013. Not long after, Ben Roberts' high school acquaintance, 30-year-old Kyle Nunn, offered to help raise money to help with medical costs.

Nunn claimed he had connections to country singer Jason Aldean and was even able to get Baxter's 942, a Louisville bar, on board.

Police said Nunn was never planning a benefit concert. Instead, he pocketed $9,000 -- $3,000 that was raised by the Robertses and another $6,000 that was donated by the bar.

Nunn was arrested on January 31 and charged with two felony counts of theft by deception.

Now, Baxter's 942 and Country Radio Station Q-103.1 are teaming up to raise money for the Roberts family. They announced that on March 25, country singer Gary Allan will play an intimate acoustic concert at Baxter's 942 with 100 percent of the ticket sales going to Addie.

Only 250 tickets will available for the concert, with prices starting at $10.31. On Monday, Q-103.1 will announce how the public can purchase tickets.

Baxter's 942 will host another benefit featuring the band Cover Me Badd on March 7 at 9 p.m. There will be a $5 cover charge, which will go to Addie.
