Peace Center Oscar films fest picks up after snow

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Peace Center is hosting the 2014 Oscar Films Festival this weekend, though the first night was snowed out.

The festival features Oscar-nominated short films programs in the Live Action, Animation, and Documentary categories.

In addition to the shorts, the feature length film Broken Circle Breakdown, a nominee for Best Foreign Language Film, will air. Blue Jasmine was supposed to play Thursday night but was canceled because of the weather. People who had tickets for Thursday's showing can transfer their ticket for any remaining showing or receive a refund by contacting the box office.

The festival is at the Peace Center's Gunter Theatre on Friday through Sunday. Tickets are $10 per film or Shorts series.

Friday, Feb. 14 at 7 p.m.: Broken Circle Breakdown

Saturday, Feb. 15:

1 p.m.: Oscar Shorts Live Action

3:30 p.m.: Oscar Shorts Animated

6 p.m.: Oscar Shorts Documentary

Sunday, Feb. 16:

1 p.m.: Oscar Shorts Live Action

3:30 p.m.: Oscar Shorts Animated

6 p.m.: Oscar Shorts Documentary
