GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Troopers blocked off part of White Horse Road after a car crashed into a utility pole, damaging it.

According to the Highway Patrol the crash happened about 9 a.m. near U.S. 25 and Highway 253.

Troopers had blocked off part of the highway to thru-traffic but opened the road back up about 10:30 a.m.

According to FOX Carolina's crew at the scene, Pendleton Road is still blocked to some traffic after the pole was damaged.

Duke Energy was on the scene assessing the damage and said they were not aware of any outages, but the accident knocked off the circuit. A Duke Energy worker on the scene said they had the circuit back on.

There is no word on any injuries to the driver or how the accident happened.
