MARION, NC (FOX Carolina) -

A Marion man has been charged with stealing power cords, copper wiring, lawn tools and dirt bike from his neighbors, according to the McDowell County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies charged Travis Wilson, 34, with four counts of felony breaking and entering, two counts each of felony larceny and felony larceny after breaking and entering and one count of misdemeanor larceny after several incidents since November.

On Nov. 29, it was reported to deputies that someone stole $725 worth of copper wire and extension chords from a Epley Drive home, which runs perpendicular to Wilson's Laken Drive home.

On Dec. 20, deputies said it was reported to them that someone broke into an outbuilding on Zion Hill Road and stole a chainsaw and electrical cord worth a total of $250.

Another resident on Epley Drive reported having a dirt bike, fishing poles and a power cord stolen from outside her home. Deputies said the property is valued at over $1,000. Deputies said the dirt bike was recovered.

In another incident at the end of January, $700 worth of items were taken from an Arrowhead Trail home, according to the sheriff's office.

Wilson was charged in connection with the four incidents, deputies said.

Deputies said they also charged Teigan Hollifield, 26, in connection with the Arrowhead Trail burglary.
