NEW YORK (WNYW/FOX) - A new business venture would save people from the horror stories of public restrooms by offering luxury facilities for a fee.

Free toilets in New York are often unsanitary and harbor homeless people, but Wayne Parks has created a members-only day storage and luxury restroom facility called Posh Stow and Go.

Once he secures leases for locations near Penn Station and Grand Central Terminal, Parks will charge $8 per day plus a $15 annual membership.

At around 2,500 square feet, the lounges would be bigger than some people's apartments. It's everything rolled up in one: private bathroom stalls, lockers and even a lounge.

"It's a respite. It's a place to relax and take their load off," Parks said. "It's not just a bathroom, it's the storage feature. It's a place to put things and lock them up if you don't want to carry it."
