SUMTER COUNTY, SC (WIS) -

A second victim has been identified in the case against middle school teacher Elizabeth Moss.

Law enforcement officials say Moss has been charged with assault and battery 2nd degree after their investigation indicated the 31-year-old used writing materials to "arouse" a 14-year-old inside Chestnut Oaks Middle School.

Moss was released on $150,000 bond Friday.

Moss' attorney told a Sumter County judge the allegations against her client were in retaliation for Moss disciplining two cheerleaders.

The allegations, according to Moss' attorney came from a friend of the cheerleaders are not true.

"Those girls were not allowed to cheer at a game and after that happened; all these allegations come out," said defense attorney Rose Mary Parham.

Moss is also accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old student in 2013.

She was charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor on Wednesday after she turned herself in.

Investigators say Moss, the honors chorus director and music teacher at Chestnut Oaks Middle School, had a liaison with the male student at her residence between March and April 2013.

Investigators said Thursday the investigation so far indicates Moss' actions are those of a sexual predator and that there may be more victims.

The Sumter School District placed Moss on administrative leave Tuesday.

If you feel your child may be a victim of Moss', you are urged to call the Sumter County Sheriff's Office at 803-436-2000.
