Massachusetts State Police told CBS 3 that they seized narcotics and a firearm during a traffic stop Friday on Adams Street.
They said 28-year-old Juan Pacheco was stopped for motor-vehicle violations.
According to police, a search of Pacheco's GMC Yukon turned up a .45 caliber handgun, a stun gun, 102 grams of cocaine, 368 bags of heroin, a bag of percocet, as well as bags of marijuana.
Pacheco was charged with trafficking 100-200 grams of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute a class A substance (heroin), illegally possessing a firearm, illegal possession of ammunition, improper storage of a firearm, possession of a loaded firearm, possession of a stun gun, possession of a class D substance (marijuana) with intent to distribute, and possession of a class B substance (oxycodone) with the intent to distribute, police said.
Police also cited him for having excessive window tints, a number plate violation and for having drugs in a school zone, according to an arrest report.
They said Pacheco is being held on $100,000 bail and will be arraigned in Northampton District Court on Monday morning.
