Woodruff Police said an Enoree man was charged with three counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor who was younger than 16.

Chief Alan Bledsoe of the Woodruff Police Department said James Marvin Fortner, 40, was charged after the victim came forward and told officers about three incidents inside a home on Cross Anchor Road.

Bledsoe said Fortner was accused of sexually assaulting the child Jan. 11, 18 and 25.

Bledsoe said Fortner was charged Friday.
