Overnight lows will remain mostly clear with temperatures dropping into the lower 40s and mid-30s. Western North Carolina will see a little more in the way of cloud cover than the Upstate for the Monday morning commute.
Winds will mainly be out of the north between 5 and 10 mph for northeast Georgia, western North Carolina and the Upstate. We will see those winds pick up a bit across the mountains with gusts of winds approaching 25 mph.
Afternoon highs will peak above normal, reaching the mid-60s in the Upstate and northeast Georgia while only reaching the mid-50s across the mountains. Skies will be mostly sunny throughout.
Tuesday will stay in the 50s as clouds pour in overhead in advance of a cold front that will bring the chance of rain overnight into Wednesday.
Wednesday will see the return of mostly sunny skies but temperatures will dip below normal and begin a streak of cool temperatures into next weekend.
