SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Spartanburg and Greenville police said they received more than 30 reports of cut tires across the cities this weekend.

Spartanburg police said they responded to the first call about a vandalized car with all four tires cut at the Prince Hall Apartments.

Throughout the day, police said they responded to a total of 19 incidents in Spartanburg where tires were slashed across the city from the Prince Hall Apartments to the intersection of Aden Street and Freemont Avenue.

Police said one of the victims thought her ex-boyfriend slashed her tires because he had wanted to spend the night but she wouldn't let him.

So far, police said they have yet to identify the suspect but officers out investigating more claims of punctured tires on Monday said they found a few drops of blood in two cases.

Greenville police also reported 13 vehicles with slashed tires over the weekend. Police said they will be working together to see if the incidents are connected.

Anyone with information on the vandalism is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
