Chief: Fire contained after multiple houses burned in Black Mountain

BLACK MOUNTAIN, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Black Mountain fire Chief Steve Jones said they battled multiple structure fires that destroyed one home in Buncombe County on Monday.

Jones said two houses are damaged and one is destroyed near Sky High Drive at the end of Old Toll Road.

Fire officials said the fire was contained at 6:30 p.m. and there were no injuries at that time.

The fire department said they are still putting out hot spots at this time.

The cause is unknown at this time.
