Deputies: Pair stopped on I-85 in stolen truck after home invasion

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Two people have been charged after a stolen truck was pulled over on Interstate 85, and deputies said the two were involved in a home invasion in Anderson County.

Lt. Tim Ridgeway of the Greenville County Sheriff's Office said a male and female stole a truck in Greenville County and then were involved in a home invasion in Anderson County.

Ridgeway identified the pair as Alfred Williams, 40, of Liberty, and Sarah Wilson, 29, of Easley.

The truck was pulled over on I-85 at the Pelham Road exit about 5 p.m. Tuesday and the two were detained.

Williams and Wilson both face charges for failure to stop for blue lights, unlawful carrying of a pistol, possession of a stolen vehicle, receiving stolen goods, unlawful possession of a stolen gun and possession of burglary tools, according to online jail records. 

Williams is also charged with possession of a firearm and/or ammunition by a violent felon.
