He doesn't even have his driver's license yet, but he's a big part of a team making a state playoff run.
Tift County freshman PJ Horne has become quite a weapon for the Blue Devils basketball team.
But he's also a force to be reckoned with in the classroom.
The Blue Devils starting center has helped lead Tift County back to the state semifinals, and he's handled it all while maintaining a 3.4 GPA.
He admits having older brother DJ Bryant on the team has helped him transition to high school, and he says DJ gave him some advice he's kept with him.
"He'll talk about stuff that will help me in life, and with my grades," Horne says. "Like about constructive criticism. You're going to get yelled at, but keep on going."
Horne says his favorite subject is math, and he hopes to play college basketball after graduating high school.
