TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Authorities are investigating the cause of a noxious odor that officials said caused several H and R Block employees to be sick.

Northwest Fire District crews and hazmat teams responded to scene in the 3700 block of W. Ina Road Friday.

Capt. Adam Goldberg said they ruled out carbon monoxide as a cause.

Medical crews treated two patients and are evaluating six more, Goldberg said.

Barbara Grijalva is headed to the scene. Follow her on Twitter @BGrijalvaKOLD for updates.
