PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Phoenix police are looking for a man they say robbed a cupcake store in January.

A man walked into Gigi's Cupcakes at 3925 E. Camelback Road about 6:05 p.m. on Jan. 22 and asked an employee behind the register for change, a Phoenix police spokesman said.

When the worker opened the drawer, the suspect reached across the counter and began taking money and the tray out of the register, the spokesman said.

He ran from the story and got into a newer model gold Mercedes-Benz driven by another man and headed east on Camelback Road.

The suspect who took the money is described as white, 25 to 30 years old, 6' tall, 150 to 180 pounds with dark brown hair.

The driver of the Mercedes was described only as a black man.

Up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrests and prosecution of the suspects.

Anyone with information about the suspects or incidents are asked to call police at 602-262-6141, Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS (480-948-6377) or toll free at 1-800-343-TIPS.
