Woman suspected of trying to smuggle booze into prison

KINGMAN, AZ (CBS5) -

A Mohave Valley woman was arrested on suspicion of trying to bring contraband into the Arizona State Prison in Golden Valley.

Mohave County Sheriff's Office official said Tamy Kim Logan, 53, was taken into custody Friday afternoon after prison officials said they found two water bottles in Logan's bag.

The bottles had the aroma of alcohol and Mohave deputies were contacted, the official said.

She denied knowing what was in the bottles, the official said.

The was booked into the Mohave County Jail on suspicion of promoting prison contraband, a felony, the official said.
